TRANSTEC has sponsored and attended the 1st International Conference on “Recent Trends in Translation Technology”, hosted by the Faculty of Al-Alsun & Mass Communication, Misr International University (MIU), under auspices of Dr. Laila Gala Rizk, Dean of the Faculty. During the conference, TRANSTEC team interact with attendees from both academia and professional market, where they knew about the various translation and localization services provided by the company, with the purpose of networking, knowledge-sharing and for any further cooperation or collaboration efforts. The conference was very successful to address remarkable topics including the gap between academia and market, today’s translation market needs, new technologies in machine translation, artificial intelligence applications in translation, and more.
At the closing session, Dr. Laila Rizk has announced the recommendations of the conference and called for more research and study for pending areas to be discussed and addressed in following versions of the conference.
